Memo posted to Facebook for Austin Lake and Campground in Ohio on measures for re-opening of the water features

Austin Lake RV Park & Cabin

? First, Read this ENTIRE post and all it details. If you hit share, it most likely will only share the web link but not any of these details that are crucial to know and understand.

Reopening the beach and swimming area under the mandated regulations due to Covid-19 for keeping everyone safe and healthy is a challenge. It is a work in progress. When we are ready to open with all protocols in place, we are regulated to reduce capacity, maintain social distancing in and out of the water, disinfect equipment, and non family groups / groups larger than 10 will still be prohibited.?

  • 2:30-8: registered campers and daily guests
  • Saturday - Sunday: 11-2: registered campers only
  • 2:30-8: registered campers and daily guests?

How much does it cost?

Price sheets, explanations and restrictions on our armbands and PDF armband waiver can be found on our website: www.austinlakepark.com .

We strongly recommend reading through our website and having an understanding of prices and restrictions before you decide to come.?

Are you taking beach reservations or pavilion reservations?

No. Pavilions are closed due to Covid. As in the past, if we are at capacity you may not be able to come in to the park or to the beach. We will be asking all patrons to consider their time and to not monopolize an area if others are waiting.?

If I don’t occupy space on the beach but just want to go up to swim, can I?

Depends on occupancy.?

These are SOME of our rules that will be strongly enforced this summer:

? Do a Health self assessment before you come. Do NOT come if you are sick, have a fever, display any symptoms associated with COVID-19, or have been exposed to someone who falls under this category.

? Bring your own hand sanitizer, use it, and wash hands frequently.

? Face masks are encouraged.

? FAMILY APPROPRIATE attire, behavior, & language.

? No alcohol, smoking, or dogs on the beach.

? All children under 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult.

? No personal flotation devices (rafts, wings, noodles, etc) past the poles in the shallow. Period.

? Shallow water inflatables are only for YOUNG children.

There are other rules and signs posted throughout the park. You will be asked to follow these rules.Anyone who gives us grief or who will not follow directions will be asked to leave without a refund. We are in this together, these are just some of the mandates we are required to regulate. Management is in charge.

Employees are to be respected at all times.

If you have further questions, go to the website. Our phone lines are extremely busy. Facebook messages may not be seen/addressed.
